BIG RAPIDS — David Hunt looks back at the winter sports season at Crossroads Charter Academy boys girls bowling coach and carries fond memories.
It was his first season as coach. The boys were 3-2-1 and the girls were 1-5.
“We had a year of improvements,” Hunt said. “We struggled to all be on at the same time. We met our expectations for the season. We showed major improvements and we are more well prepared for next season. Season highlights were the girls winning team conference tournament. For the boys it was our great battles with Baldwin.
“There were plenty of challenges throughout the season. But we battled through and did our best to overcome them. There were a couple of disappointing moments through the year as well, but we are excited to come back and battle again next season.”
Top boy bowler was Joshua Hunt.
“Even though he struggled early on in the year he made big improvements and I am super proud of him,” Hunt said. “The top girl this year was Jada Meeuwes. She has been around the last few years and continues to get better. I am super excited to see what is in store for her next season.
